Always one for a new experience, Sarah from 104.7 The LIZARD donned an apron, and hopped behind the counter to try the Indian-Mexican fusion offered at Taco Delhi.

Keith Boer took a leap of faith when he opened Taco Delhi on Gateway Boulevard 10 months ago.
The 28-year-old businessman had already seen a certain amount of success as a franchisee with Chopped Leaf a few years back, but now he was putting all of his eggs in one basket. Actually, strike that; not eggs, but roti and naan, filled with such delicious Indian mainstays as tikka masala and butter chicken, as well as Mexican dishes like carne asada.

Will Taco Delhi be the next? This restaurant opened in south Edmonton earlier this month. Plans are for a location in Kelowna to open soon. Go to the Taco Delhi website, and there’s a hard sell about “how you can bring the Taco Delhi concept to your city!” Well, we can’t say that the entrepreneurs behind this concept are short on confidence.
